Strikeborn Roadmap to a Free Build
The three-character condition, and why portraits do not count.
Players keep asking for a date. SSSStudio has been quoted, through creator wrap-ups, with a condition instead: Strikeborn’s public free experience comes when three characters are complete. This page is that condition, written so it cannot be confused with a calendar.
Paid early access still exists today. You can enter now if you pass the Robux and age gates — see early access. You cannot honestly tell a friend “it is free next Friday” from anything this wiki has verified.
What “complete” has to mean
A complete Strikeborn character, based on how Yuji and Guts actually play:
- A full M1 string that can convert.
- Skill slots with real tools, not a blank bar.
- Access to the shared air layer (variants, follow-ups).
- Enough identity that a guide can be written without pretending.
A portrait, an M1-only dummy, or a kit that still says “not in the game” in a showcase does not count. That is why Jinchuriki and Gon do not move this roadmap even if they appear on the select screen.

Guts’ incomplete ultimate is an asterisk on his page, not a reason to claim there is only one complete character. You can main him for hours. You cannot main Jinchuriki for hours without running out of buttons.
What we expect around the third kit (not promises)
When a third kit is actually complete, expect:
- This wiki to add a Player page, a lesson, and a tier list row the same day we can verify skills.
- The Roblox listing to drop or alter the paywall. We will only mark the game as free when the listing is free.
- A likely spike in codes and in bad scripts. Read script safety before that week.
- More 100-player chaos. Learn air now on Yuji or Guts so you are not the free-build tutorial NPC.
We do not expect a Steam port, a ranked ladder, or a story mode from anything currently public. If those appear, they get their own update page.
Rumors this page will not repeat as fact
- Exact Robux discounts.
- “Next week” dates copied from comment sections.
- Wishlist characters (Vergil, Asta, Gojo) as if they are scheduled.
- Datamined moves for Gon.
Official Discord can overrule this page. Until it does, the roadmap is one sentence: two complete kits live, one more complete kit unlocks the free public plan.
If you are waiting, keep the updates hub bookmarked. If you already paid, play. The third kit will not refund the hours you could have spent on wall jumps.
