Strikeborn Tools
Pocket references so you can lab the air game without pausing a YouTube clip every five seconds.
Strikeborn does not ship a training mode with replay takeover. You lab on cliffs, on jump pads, and on whoever is unfortunate enough to stand still. These tools are the paper you wish the client had: a controls cheatsheet and a combo notation key that match how this wiki writes routes.
They are not damage calculators. We do not have stable numbers yet, and inventing them would make Yuji and Guts look more solved than they are.
What is here
- Controls cheatsheet — PC / mobile / controller defaults, dash pips, wall jump, jump pads, shift lock. Print it or leave it on a second monitor.
- Combo notation — how we write
M1 x3, air slots, back-hold variants, and the Guts look-down kick so a route on combat is readable.
If you wanted a secret GUI, that is the scripts aisle, and it is empty on purpose.
How to lab in the live client
- Open a quiet server or a corner of the waterfall map. Getting Started names the landmarks.
- Set shift lock. Turn graphics down so the mist does not hide bodies.
- Pick one complete character. Incomplete slots will teach you the wrong game.
- Run the ten-minute variant test: each skill grounded, back-held, aerial.
- Write the results in notation from the combo notation page.
- Only then take the route into a real fight. A 100-player lobby is a terrible notebook.
Tools we will not fake
- A frame-data table with made-up startup frames.
- A damage calculator with made-up percents.
- A “tier solver” that tells you Guts is 0.7% better.
- An in-browser executor. Never.
When SSSStudio adds an official dummy or a sandbox place, this hub will link it from Links and tell you which tools become obsolete. Until then, paper plus a cliff is the whole lab.
Use the cheatsheet beside controls and the notation beside the character lessons. If a patch remaps slots, Updates will say so and both tool pages will change in the same pass so they do not disagree.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Strikeborn early-access players.
Is there a Strikeborn training mode?
Not a full one. Lab on the live map with the cheatsheet and notation pages. A quiet cliff is the dummy.
Do you have damage numbers?
No stable public numbers. We will not invent them. Use the notation page to record your own confirms.
Are these tools the same as scripts?
No. They are reference pages. Scripts are third-party injectors and are unverified. See the scripts hub.
Will you add a combo calculator?
Only if the game publishes stable values. For now the combo notation page is the honest replacement.
