Strikeborn Incomplete Characters
Jinchuriki and Gon — portraits you can click, kits you should not main.
Strikeborn’s select screen has always looked greedier than the patch notes. Tests and the paid early-access build have shown Jinchuriki (Naruto-inspired) and Gon (Hunter × Hunter) as extra slots that do not play like finished battlegrounds characters. This page exists so you stop losing nights on them and so this wiki never publishes a fake four-skill bible.
If you want someone you can actually lab, go to Yuji or Guts. If you are waiting for the free public experience, the condition is three complete characters — these slots are exactly why that condition is not met. See the roadmap.
What “incomplete” meant on video
Creator sessions from the private tests described four portraits with the bottom two only having M1s, believed to be Naruto-inspired. Later wrap-ups still treated Jinchuriki as not in the game as a finished fighter even while Guts and Yuji were being showcased. Gamma’s access video also pointed at a Gon-like silhouette and needed a friend to identify it.
Translation into player advice:
- You might see the portrait.
- You might be able to punch.
- You should not expect air variants, counters, or an ultimate that matches the complete kits.
- You should not put them on a tier list as D-tier. D-tier still means “this is a real character who lost.” These are unfinished files.
Jinchuriki (Naruto-inspired)
Expected identity, when finished: ninja movement, a projectile (Rasengan-like tools were guessed at in one clip), and maybe a beast-related awakening. None of that is a promise. SSSStudio can ship a completely different kit under the same portrait.
Until a patch note or a consistent showcase shows four real skills plus an air layer, treat Jinchuriki as a trailer character. If you main Naruto in other Roblox fighters, play Yuji to learn this engine’s air rules so the eventual kit does not feel like a different game.
Gon
Expected identity, when finished: simple buttons that become scary if an awakening exists. Hunter × Hunter adaptations on Roblox usually live or die on that transformation. We have not seen a complete version in Strikeborn footage we trust. Do not pre-lab Janken combos from other titles.
Why the wiki will not “fill in” skills
Other sites will invent cooldown numbers because empty pages rank worse. This page stays empty of fake moves on purpose. When Jinchuriki or Gon ships as a complete kit, they get their own Player page with the same structure as Yuji and Guts, a lesson under Guides, and a row on the tier list. That is the day the early-access story starts to end.
What you can do while you wait
- Learn the map and the shared combat layer on a complete character. Wall jumps transfer. Dash pip discipline transfers. Air camera transfers.
- Watch Updates instead of leaking discords that “datamine” a kit every Friday.
- Ignore scripts that claim to “unlock all characters.” That is account theft. Read script safety.
- If you already paid for early access, you paid for Yuji, Guts, and the arena. The unfinished portraits are a roadmap teaser, not DLC you forgot to install.
When one of these slots leaves this page, celebrate by deleting your muscle memory for M1-only punching and reading the new guide. Until then, they are incomplete, and that is the entire guide.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Strikeborn early-access players.
Can I play Naruto in Strikeborn?
You may see a Jinchuriki slot. It is incomplete. Play Yuji or Guts for a finished kit.
Is Gon in the game?
As an unfinished portrait in tests, not as a complete battlegrounds character. This page will split into a real Gon entry when that changes.
Do incomplete characters count toward the free build?
No. Staff comments tied the free public build to three complete characters. Portraits without kits do not count.
Will you add fake move lists so the page is longer?
No. Invented skills would be worse than a short honest page. Check Updates for the patch that finishes a kit.
